Matadeiro is a 900 m beach surrounded by Atlantic Forest in south Florianopolis. Accessible via short trail from Armacao, with moderate waves and wild atmosphere. Passage point for the Lagoinha do Leste trail.
Morro das Pedras is a 3 km beach with moderate waves in south Florianopolis. Its rocky hill offers panoramic views of the southern coast and is a whale watching point for southern right whales in winter (July-November).
Lagoinha do Leste is a 1.2 km wild beach in south Florianopolis, accessible only by trail or boat. Zero infrastructure. White sand, freshwater lagoon and pristine Atlantic Forest. One of Brazil's best beaches per Business Insider.
