Novo Campeche is the northern stretch of Campeche Beach, quieter with good waves.
Ilha do Campeche is called the Brazilian Caribbean: 500 meters of white sand with crystal-clear emerald waters. A National Archaeological Heritage site with 5,000-year-old rock inscriptions. Boat access only (Nov-Mar), limited to 800 daily visitors. Spectacular snorkeling.
Morro das Pedras is a 3 km beach with moderate waves in south Florianopolis. Its rocky hill offers panoramic views of the southern coast and is a whale watching point for southern right whales in winter (July-November).
