Barra da Lagoa is one of the most complete beach experiences in Florianopolis: an authentic fishing village with 2.5 km of sand, surf waves on the north end, calmer waters near the canal on the south, and excellent seafood restaurants. The Barra channel connects Conceicao Lagoon to the ocean and offers crystal-clear swimming. The trail to Prainha da Barra is a must.

Mocambique is Florianopolis longest beach at 12.5 km of pristine wilderness within Rio Vermelho State Park. With no infrastructure, it is an ecological sanctuary of dunes, restinga, and Atlantic Forest. Strong waves make it unsafe for swimming. The wildest beach on the island.
Praia Mole is a 960-meter trendy beach in east Florianopolis set between Atlantic Forest hills. A youth hotspot with surf waves, stylish beach bars, and a trail to nudist Galheta Beach. One of the island liveliest beaches in summer. Hilltop parking with stairway access.
Galheta is the only official nudist beach in Florianopolis with 800 meters between rocky outcrops. No infrastructure, accessible by 15-minute trail from Praia Mole. Nudism is optional. A wild pristine environment offering one of the most authentic nature experiences on the island.
Lagoa da Conceicao is a 19 km² brackish lagoon in central-east Florianopolis, the island bohemian heart. A culinary hub with dozens of restaurants, bars, and vibrant nightlife. Calm waters are perfect for windsurfing and kitesurfing. An essential stop for all Florianopolis visitors.
