Cacupe is a quiet 400-meter North Bay beach in an upscale residential area of Florianopolis. Not ideal for swimming but perfect for kayaking, stand-up paddling, and spectacular sunset views. One of the most peaceful beaches on the island, just 12 minutes from downtown.
Cacupé Grande is the main Cacupé beach with calm waters, popular for SUP and with magnificent sunset.
Santo Antonio de Lisboa is the best-preserved historic Azorean neighborhood in Florianopolis with 18th-century colonial mansions and the island most beautiful sunset. Its seafood restaurants are the finest on the island. The 600-meter North Bay beach is more cultural than recreational. Just 15 minutes from downtown.
