Nearby Beaches

Praia da Barra da Lagoa

Barra da Lagoa is a fishing village with 2.5 km of beach on east Florianopolis. It offers surf waves on the north end, a crystal-clear channel for swimming, and authentic seafood restaurants. The Prainha trail is a must-do. One of the most well-rounded beach experiences on the island.

Praia do Moçambique

Mocambique is Florianopolis longest beach at 12.5 km of pristine wilderness within Rio Vermelho State Park. With no infrastructure, it is an ecological sanctuary of dunes, restinga, and Atlantic Forest. Strong waves make it unsafe for swimming. The wildest beach on the island.

Praia Mole

Praia Mole is a 960-meter trendy beach in east Florianopolis set between Atlantic Forest hills. A youth hotspot with surf waves, stylish beach bars, and a trail to nudist Galheta Beach. One of the island liveliest beaches in summer. Hilltop parking with stairway access.
